The clutch is what enables you to change gears when driving, so it’s one of the key components in your vehicle. It’s made up of 3 parts; the clutch plate, the flywheel and the pressure plate. These three components interconnect, except when you press down on the clutch pedal, which causes them to separate, allowing for a smooth transition between gears.
